Buying Process

1. Choose the Property

Coast & Country Homes North Cyprus will show you villas, apartments that suit your particular needs and interests on your Viewing Appointment. We recommend at least 3 days to reserve for the property search in order to view at a comfortable pace.

2. Pay Reservation Deposit

Once we connect you with the property you wish to buy, it is important to pay a reservation deposit (usually 2000 GBP), to take the property off the market and hold if for you at the same price until the Contract of Sale is drawn.

3. Visit the Solicitor

It is important when buying a property in Northern Cyprus to connect with a solicitor here. Although Coast & Country has strict legal checks performed on our properties prior to marketing, the solicitor takes an important role for your purchase, including applying for your Permissions to Purchase as a foreigner, Registering your Contract of Sale, and checking Title Deeds and other details of the property. It is important to sign Power of Attorney (POA) with your solicitor to be able to act on your behalf. Please be sure to bring your Passport to your Solicitor appointments.

4. Sign POA and Contract of Sale

When visiting the solicitor it is possible to arrange Contract signings before you go home. This is recommended, however if your time is precious, as long as you sign POA then your solicitor can arrange signing even once you have gone home.
